Elegance in Pink: Inside the 2025 Mimosas & Business All‑Pink Brunch in Atlanta

The official event flyer for the 2025 All Pink Brunch (“In the Garden” edition) set the tone with its vibrant motif. The Mimosas & Business brunch has become a signature gathering for women entrepreneurs, creators, and industry professionals, featuring panel speakers, a brunch feast (complete with bubbly mimosas), and a bustling vendor marketplace.

ATLANTA, GA – May 18, 2025: It was a scene straight out of a modern fairytale for women in business. A ballroom awash in pink, the clink of champagne flutes, and an electric energy of empowerment radiating from every corner. Over four hundred professional women gathered for the Mimosas & Business: All Pink Brunch (In the Garden Edition), turning the venue into a sea of blush and fuchsia as far as the eye could see. Founder London King herself was overwhelmed by the turnout. “Mimosas and Business 2025 was beyond a success! I cried when I walked in that room and seen every and I mean every seat filled wall to wall,” King shared on social media. The team had expected around 345 attendees but “ended up with well over 413 people”. A truly sold-out crowd. From the moment guests stepped through the doors, it was clear this would be a brunch experience unlike any other.

The atmosphere was equal parts elegant and electric. Upon arrival, ticket-holders were greeted by a warm hospitality. A pink carpet and floral photo backdrop offered luxe “Instagrammable” photo ops, ensuring everyone captured their boss-worthy look. Attendees adhered to a strict all-pink dress code, donning everything from rose-colored power suits to magenta sundresses. A powerful visual unity that King deliberately cultivates. “Pink symbolizes power, success, and everything I ever prayed for,” She says.

“When I walk into a room filled with women all dressed in pink, it’s surreal. It’s a reminder that anything is possible with faith and hard work.”

The result was a dazzling panorama of pink fashion and confident smiles. Strangers quickly became friends as the room buzzed with networking; women exchanged business cards and Instagram handles over the brunch buffet, forging new connections in real time. Bottomless mimosas flowed freely, adding a celebratory sparkle to the networking hour while a DJ spun upbeat tunes that kept the energy high and mingling lively.

From Podcast to Purpose: London King’s Vision and Mission

To truly appreciate the magic of this event, you have to know the story behind London King and Mimosas & Business. London, (an Atlanta-based hospitality expert and businesswoman) has made it her mission to create experiences that help women step into alignment with their purpose and leave transformed, not just inspired. However, her empire didn’t begin on a big stage or with hundreds of attendees.

In an interview with Brown Style Magazine, King explained, “It started with the Mimosas and Business podcast,” she says, recounting humble beginnings. “I opened my home and started interviewing boss women from all walks of life.” Those intimate gatherings in her living room sparked something special. The podcast gained traction, landing on Apple Podcasts and Spotify long before video podcasts were popular.

King’s passion for uplifting women then expanded into a line of affirmation books and journals she created to manifest her own dreams. Before long, the first live Mimosas & Business event was born and hosted in Atlanta with just 85 guests. The energy in that initial room validated King’s vision. “From that moment on, I haven’t looked back,” she says. “It’s been up ever since, and I do not plan on letting up.”

Over the years, Mimosas & Business has evolved from a small meet-up into a full-fledged movement grounded in empowerment, entrepreneurship, and community. What sets King’s approach apart is her commitment to real transformation and “tough-love” mentorship.

“I tell women what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear. That’s the easy route…It’s like a Big Sis giving her Lil Sis the real game with love and honesty.”

At her events, expect more than feel-good remarks. Expect actionable advice, hard-earned wisdom and keen challenges to level up.

This no-nonsense, big-sister approach is rooted in King’s own journey of breaking free from limiting beliefs.

Growing up in St. Louis, she witnessed many people held back by “mental and spiritual chains” and vowed to forge a different path. Today, having moved into her purpose from a place of healing, King channels those lessons into each event, ensuring attendees don’t just leave with inspiration, but with alignment and a plan.

King’s mission is evident in every detail of the All Pink Brunch. She intentionally crafts spaces where confidence and collaboration bloom hand-in-hand. “When you love on yourself and are confident about who you are, you can collaborate from a different energy, without comparison or competition,” King says of the spirit she cultivates at Mimosas & Business.

The result is an environment where women genuinely cheer for each other’s success. In fact, many past attendees have found tangible business opportunities through the network, such as new clients, investors, and even future business partners.

“The most beautiful thing I’ve witnessed is women finding their next investor, their business bestie, or their future collaborator—all in one room,” King shares.

It’s networking in its highest form: not just swapping cards, but sparking collaborations and friendships that extend well beyond the brunch.

Power in Pink: Where Empowerment Meets Elegance

The event took place at MPS Studios Atlanta (1230 Logan Circle NW) from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, transforming the venue into a pink wonderland. Lush greenery and blooming floral arrangements evoked the “In the Garden” theme, creating a whimsical backdrop for serious business inspiration.

In one corner, an expansive vendor marketplace featured over 25 women-owned small businesses, from fashion boutiques and beauty brands to financial services and coaching programs.

Attendees strolled the marketplace with champagne flutes in hand, chatting with vendors and supporting fellow female entrepreneurs. “Shop, Support, and Slay” was the mantra of the marketplace, embodying the event’s community spirit of women supporting women in business.

The main stage was styled with plush cream-colored couches, pink glittery beach balls, and botanical greenery spread across the floor like a garden runway.

Throw pillows branded with the Mimosas & Business logo added a personal touch, while soft uplighting in rose and lavender tones gave the set a warm, empowering glow. It felt intimate yet polished, like a talk show built for queens.

As everyone settled in with plates of brunch fare (think fluffy waffles, fresh fruit, and of course endless mimosas) London took the stage to welcome the crowd.

In a dazzling pink ensemble, she radiated passion and gratitude, inviting everyone to connect and forge new business partnerships. And with that, the signature programming commenced.

Panel Discussions: “In the Garden – Blocks to Blessings” & “Being That Girl & Owning Your Influence”

Getting to the main event, the program opened with Pep Talk Tae and Tie Cooper energizing the crowd, blending charm, humor, and charisma to set the tone for the day. Their presence helped transition the brunch from mingling to momentum, priming everyone for the wisdom ahead. The afternoon featured two dynamic panel discussions that perfectly encapsulated the event’s themes of turning adversity into triumph and stepping boldly into one’s influence. Each panel was led by a skilled moderator and packed with accomplished women eager to share their journeys.

Panel 1: “In the Garden – Blocks to Blessings” – Moderated by media personality Kimberly “Glamlife Kim” Holifield, this panel delved into how to turn life’s stumbling blocks into stepping stones for success. The panelists included Lorraine Lindsey (an award-winning speaker, podcast host and transformational mindset coach), Jessica Pitre (founder of Girlfriends Ink, a brand devoted to empowering women to live intentionally), Nathalie Nicole Smith (a dynamic entrepreneur and best-selling author of Becoming A Brand), and Jasmine Suazo (known as the “Wealth & Legacy Maven,” a finance guru who turned setbacks into generational wealth).

With diverse perspectives ranging from personal finance to personal branding, these women opened up about the challenges they faced on the road to success and how faith, perseverance, and community helped them transform “blocks into blessings.” Attendees soaked up practical insights on overcoming imposter syndrome, securing funding, and staying spiritually grounded while building an empire.

The conversation was transparent and relatable, drawing knowing nods and laughter from the audience as panelists shared how they navigated hurdles in their careers and lives. By the end, the message was clear: like a well-tended garden, every seed of a dream can blossom, even after the toughest storms, with the right nurturing and mindset.

Panel 2: “Being That Girl & Owning Your Influence” – The second panel, moderated by influencer and entrepreneur Aftan “Queen Aftan” Williams, was a masterclass in confidence and owning one’s power. Here, the spotlight was on personal brand and influence, how to be “that girl” who commands her industry and community with authenticity.

The lineup featured Troyia Monay (a digital content maven known for her savvy in branding), Ashley Pittman-Lewis (Influencer Strategy Manager at Delta Air Lines, offering a corporate perspective on influencer marketing), and Mercedes E. Smith (a visionary entrepreneur and founder of Luxury Levels Transport).

Where the first panel focused on overcoming hurdles, this discussion centered on leveraging strengths and visibility. The women traded tips on everything from building an engaged online community to negotiating brand deals and leadership opportunities.

They spoke about “being that girl” not in a superficial sense, but as a call to step fully into one’s influence. Whether that means leading a team, growing a social platform with purpose, or simply having the courage to own your success.

The dialogue was empowering and action-oriented. By the end, the room felt emboldened to own their influence and walk out as the CEO of their own lives. Both panels were interactive, with moderators Holifield and Williams guiding the conversations masterfully.

Beyond the Brunch: Entertainment, Connections & Community

While the panels were the centerpiece, the All Pink Brunch offered so much more than speeches. It was equal parts conference and celebration. Throughout the day, a mix of planned attractions and spontaneous moments kept the experience lively and memorable:

Musical Vibes: A local DJ curated the soundtrack of the brunch, spinning an upbeat blend of R&B and motivational anthems that had heads bobbing and a few attendees dancing in between bites of waffle.

The music added a chic lounge ambiance to the venue, energizing the crowd and underscoring that this was as much a celebration as it was a business event.

Dancing Robot: In one of the afternoon’s most whimsical surprises, a dancing robot decked out in LED lights strolled onto the floor to get the party started. This futuristic entertainer delighted guests by busting out choreographed moves. Laughter and smartphone flashes filled the room as the robot danced on the stage.

The playful moment had everyone on their feet and will undoubtedly be one of those “you had to be there” stories attendees tell long after. It was an unconventional touch, but one that perfectly embodied the event’s blend of business and fun.

Giveaways & Honors: Generosity was another hallmark of the day. Lucky raffle winners walked away with exciting prizes. everything from luxury gift baskets of beauty products to free business coaching sessions.

London King announced that one attendee’s business would be featured on a billboard in downtown Atlanta, a marketing opportunity worth thousands. That demonstrated how deeply Mimosas & Business is invested in elevating women entrepreneurs.

Additionally, the event took a few minutes to honor outstanding women in the community. A heartfelt gesture that reinforced the event’s community feel. This was a room full of women who uplift each other, and their collective success was being celebrated.

A Celebration of Empowerment and Community

By the end of the 2025 All Pink Brunch, it was clear that Mimosas & Business is far more than a networking event. It’s a movement and a community. London King’s original vision of helping women walk out transformed was fully realized, as attendees left with uplifted spirits, expanded networks, and notebooks (and phones) full of new ideas.

The event flawlessly blended business savvy and sisterhood, showing that empowerment can be elegant and fun at the same time. “Pink symbolizes power and success,” King had said, and on this day, pink was everywhere. Not just in the outfits and décor, but in the powerful atmosphere of unity and possibility.

For those who missed it, the recap alone might induce FOMO from the insightful panel gems to the exuberant dance interludes, but more importantly, it carries the essence of what Mimosas & Business is all about.

It’s about women pouring into one another (over mimosas, naturally), breaking down barriers, and toasting to each other’s wins. As one attendee was heard saying on her way out, “I came for the brunch and business tips, but I’m leaving with a whole new mindset and a dozen new sisters.” That sentiment encapsulates the magic of the All Pink Brunch.

In a single afternoon, London King cultivated a space where entrepreneurs, creators, and professionals felt seen, celebrated, and empowered to strive higher, together.

In the meantime, the legacy of this year’s event lives on in the countless connections made and the newfound resolve of every woman who walked out in her boldest pink, head high and heart full.
